Well, it would seem that today is not a good day to die for Klingon Academy. Komat has published two fixes for Klingon Academy that make the game playable on modern operating systems, check out the thread here and Komat's website containing the fix here. The first fix corrects a fault that could cause the game to crash on modern multi-core systems and the second is a DirectX wrapper that corrects a number of rendering issues with the game.

Having had a couple of crash free, flash free and fire lag free games I'm sure I speak for everyone who is a Klingon Academy fan when I say thank you Komat!
