Note: After turning off the option to make distant asteroids disappear instead of turning into particles, the logfile exploded to 180MB, mostly consisting of the message "too many particles" over and over again.

I wonder if the asteroids in SFC2 were lwo objects and whether or not they could be ported over to KA. Personally, I absolutely hated the looks of the KA asteroids. If there was one thing out of the many I would fix and improve in KA, it would be the asteroids.

SFC used .mod format. I've converted meshes from .mod using either milkshape or 3DS before

i always thought mine looked cool i retextured the old meshes with better pics in 04 or 05
