I remember quite well, actually. It's hard to believe now, though. This board was a big part of my life, back in the day. Used to get on here during, and after, school all the time. On the other hand, looking too far back on the boards and my post history reminds me of how.....immature I was, back then. I was 13, though, so....yeah... it's like having a time capsule of my stupidity. lol.

Online gaming in this day and age does not compare to the glory days of Teamspeak 2, GameSpy Arcade and Dial Up.

Well, I could do without Dial Up. Some compromises have to be made.

My whole 1.5Mbps download speed shows just how far we've come! I'm finally on par with the year 2000! /s

Also, as much as I miss the glory days of Gamespy arcade and all that, I don't miss the Gamespy arcade program. I remember that thing being buggy as hell.

I really hope KA gets on Steam one day. Even though it runs perfectly fine on W10, I think most people won't bother with installing games from discs anymore, and there's always that moral gray area about downloading the game "illegally" off the Internet.

Everyone should send in some emails to Interplay and pester them about it. If they could do SFA, they sure as hell should do KA.

On a side note, John should make one of us a moderator so we can clean up the forum spam.

You'd think so! lol. I think he's a little nervous with the old hack that happened years ago. Someone royally messed with the site if I remember correctly. But I do check in every few days hoping for some reason that KA will magically come alive again lol.

It will only happen if it gets on Steam or GOG. It's hard to find new players when you can't legally download it.

Of course, no one will be able to host games because kids these days don't know what Port Forwarding is.

It would be great to see it on STEAM. I'd pay to redownload a program I already have the rights to. Don't suppose games that you already own and have installed can then be checked to download STEAM components for MP functionality?

It would be even greater if it had some MP scenarios that made sense; like GWar or even CTF.
