making a new sovereign class (especially the Ent E, as much detailed as possible, like in Nemesis or First Contact) is one of my dreams since I've started with modding :D :D Hehe, and here she is :)

(all textures/models are converted form a BC mod)

After fixing this weapon point problem, I want to make spot lights and nav-lights to make it more realistic, but never before I've use this part of modding in a mod. I've tried to work with the tutorial here in the forum without success :(

That looks sweet!

What I can tell you about point lighting is:

1. It is a pain in the BUTT!

2. It's alot of trial and error.

3. It is a pain in the BUTT!

4. Here is an example of pointlights syntax from the top of the Ambo saucer
001_D01_D02_!light[Power]:255,255,255:45:0:450:360
This point is 80M out from the center of the saucer and 20M above.

5 . It is a pain in the BUTT!

6. Your surface smoothing angle can have an effect on the pointlight result.

7. It is a pain in the BUTT!

8. Vertical distance and horizontal location is a big factor.

9. It is a pain in the BUTT!

You get the idea.

I have to know two more things, first how to do new weapon sounds? I can't find any useful .acm converter. And second, I can't target the primary weapons in game. The ship file seems to be ok. Will somebody have a look at it please :)

That really is a nice version of the Sovereign class, it seems a little darker than the other releases that I've seen. I think it looks nice like that, but some minor lighting would look really good on it though.

thank you very much guys :) After try with some setups I was able to do a "suitable" lightning for the Ent E. My new weapon sounds sounds bad so I used the old ones again

I'm sorry SC, it's now available for download yet. Last thing to do is the ginsu, in my eyes THAT'S really a pain in the ass :(

@ teeth.

your maybe right, but no energy means no light from the engine so it's instant dark (black)!? :o

I've got sort of an unimportant question. Where do you have the torpedoes set up to fire from? I noticed the two tubes under the deflector dish, but I was wondering if you had it set up more like in Nemesis?

Basically I was wondering if you might have used the schematics from nemesis as a basis for the weapon layout?
