Updated releases of a combined patch for Klingon Academy are now available here, these will hopefully provide a more streamlined experience of getting Klingon Academy up and running on modern operating systems.

New in Klingon Academy Combined Patch 1.02r6

Launcher Fixes:

- Movies
When used this will automatically copy all Klingon Academy movies from the original CD media to the correct location on the users hard drive, this will remove the need to use the CD's when playing the single player campaign. Numerous bugs with this option have been corrected with this release, with 1.02r5 the movies were copied but the correct change to options.cfg was not being made. Thanks to RKOViper for reporting the issue. If you installed the movies with 1.02r5 please uninstall and reinstall to trigger the options.cfg update.

Patch New Features/Fixes:

- Interplay Electronic Registration Disabled
The patch should now automatically disable the electronic registration window that pops up after a fresh installation of Klingon Academy and this patch has been made.

- Antivirus False Positives
Antivirus False Positives for 1.02r5 were better than I expected given the problems encountered with prior versions, I hope the trend continues with 1.02r6. VirusTotal report results for the package and its components are available here. VirusTotal is not a real world environment so if you have had issues with prior versions of the patch being flagged by your Antivirus product I would be interested in any feedback on how 1.02r6 performs.
